CanaDave was first blown to smithereens back in 2013 when he witnessed EDCHOCULI jump on a Toronto show and up-end the place. Now a decade later ZBR got the opportunity to help release the Pittsburgh band’s third full length (and first with two drummers) titled ‘Higherlander’. These five songs will take you on an epic journey to find the mono riff, which will be different for each listener. My personal fave is embedded in the hilariously titled “I’ll Never Forget Ol’ What’s His Name”, but with each track coming in at around 7 minutes minimum, there’s a lot to unpack and enjoy over many repeat listens. Each label gets a variant and ours is Celestial Forge (gold/silver merge), but we’ll have a few complete variant sets available.
